Who We Are
The MISSION Statement of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul USA is a Catholic lay organization inspired by Gospel values. We join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to neighbors in need, and keep in the tradition of our founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul.
The Home Visit remains the central work of Members and Conferences of the Society of St Vincent de Paul. On Home Visits, Vincentians do not merely “stand with” the poor; we sit with them, we listen to them, we pray with them, and we seek to help them in the best way possible.
We conduct an ongoing clothing drive that is given monthly to inner-city parishes. Click here for the exact location of San Rafael SVdP Donation Shed.
