As members of the Legion of Mary, we seek to deepen our devotion to our Blessed Mother, asking for her intercession to her Divine Son, Our Lord. Our mission goes beyond prayer as we visit those who are living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities, bringing the light of our faith to those who can no longer attend Church. Tremble Clefs, the free weekly Parkinson’s Voice Therapy and Singing Group will resume in-person meetings from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 NOON every Wednesday in the Parish Hall at San Rafael.

CARING FOR THE WHOLE PERSON Strategies For talking To Families on Your Wishes During Times of Serious Illness Valentine's Day is a day of love! What better way to start the day than taking a class on how to express your wishes when you become seriously ill. Communicating these wishes to family members is extremely important so you can spend your final days doing what you enjoy most! Is it having a picnic at the beach watching waves crash or watching a football game while eating a double fudge caramel ice cream cone versus spending time in a hospital on a breathing machine? Come and hear Caroline Etland, a professor at the USD's Hahn School of Nursing, discuss how best to communicate what's important to you. Having this conversation ahead of a medical emergency is an invaluable gift of love to yourself and your family! As part of our 50th Jubilee celebrations, you are invited to the Solemn Mass for the Anniversary of the Dedication of our Church which took place Feb. 17, 1980. Together, we will also pray a special rosary, giving thanks for our community and seeking the continuation of God’s abundant blessings.

On our date nights couples will have the opportunity to evaluate their marriage, engage with Biblical principles, and participate in an ongoing path toward a healthy, Christ-centered marriage. (80 to 90 % of the night will be spent one on one with your spouse)
