Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Diocesan Council of San Diego presents
OZANAM ORIENTATION
“And whoever gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.” (Mat. 10:42)
The Society, founded in Paris in 1833 by Frederic Ozanam & friends, brought God’s love to the poor. Today we continue this work in 150+ countries, and 4400 Dioceses of the USA, with Vincentian works of charity. We follow in Frederic’s footsteps, with the heart of St. Vincent de Paul. The Orientation is for all members, especially in the first year(s) of membership. Learn about our Founders; the structure & works of the Society; local works & activities; and our hallmark Home Visits. We will share experiences and questions, growing in holiness with St. Vincent de Paul, apostle of charity. Materials and snacks will be provided. Bring open minds and hearts!
