Middle School Ministry

San Rafael’s Middle School Youth Ministry works to foster the total personal and spiritual growth of each young person.

This ministry strives to provide new opportunities and experiences for middle school youth that will draw them to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic Church.

2019-2020 Middle School Ministry Registration

Middle School has open enrollment throughout the year (except for Sacramental Prep Students, please register by the 3rd Sunday of September).  Please contact Lailani Gachalian at youthministry@sanrafaelparish.org.

To register, please come into the parish office during regular business hours. 

*** All new families must be registered in the parish. ***

*** All new students need to provide us with a copy of their baptismal certificate(s). ***

 

Grades 1-12 Fees (all inclusive)

One Child = $150.; Two Children = $190.; and Three or More Children = $220.

There is an additional $50.00 PER CHILD for those children receiving FIRST COMMUNION and/or is in  1st and 2nd year CONFIRMATION (registration fee does not include cost of retreat).

Middle School Classes – Meets Thursdays 6:45-8:00 p.m.

6th Grade: Room H – 7th Grade: Room J -  8th Grade: Room D
Middle School Ultimate Fun Nights – 1st Friday of the Month, 7:00-9:00 p.m. in the Youth Center

Reporting Sexual Abuse:  Complaints about sexual abuse by a member of the clergy or by a parish or Catholic school employee or volunteer can be made by calling at (858)490-8353, by emailing misconduct@sdcatholic.com or visiting www.safeinourdiocese.org.

Sexual Abuse Compensation Program| The Independent Victim Compensation Program (ICP), a program sponsored by the Diocese of San Diego to assist victim-survivors who were abused as minors by priests of this diocese, has begun accepting applications.  The ICP is independent and not controlled by the Church.  There is no time limit on when the abuse may have taken place.  The program will consider all claims, regardless of how long ago the abuse occurred.  No attorney is necessary and there are no fees of any kind.  U.S. Residency is also not required.  For more information go to their website  www.CaliforniaDiocesesICP.com.
